Pope Leo XIV received Fr. John Berg, the Superior General of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter (FSSP), in audience today, according to the Holy See Press Office. Father Berg previously served as Superior General of the FSSP from 2006 to 2018, before being elected again in July 2024. Today’s audience follows a series of significant interactions between the FSSP and the Holy See, including Pope Francis’s February 2024 meeting with FSSP leadership - "allowing" them to continue with the Roman rite. An Apostolic Visitation of the Fraternity has begun in September 2024. It is the first ordinary apostolic visitation of the FSSP since 2014. #newsDmgecmsjhj
I’ve been meaning to write about this for some time, and better late than never. I encourage NLM readers to check out the initiative called the “Latin Mass Project,” which has a website as beautiful as its subject deserves. Their flagship publication, the first of many to come, is Ad Altare Dei: Pew Edition. This book contains the full texts of the Mass in Latin and English, explanations of those parts of the Mass which vary throughout the year, and clearly-marked rubrics. There are also boxes containing commentary on the gestures, prayers, and objects found within the Mass. The first edition having sold out, a second edition was prepared with several improvements: gold foil cover detail, gilded edges, sturdier hardcover binding, and a ribbon, among other touches. Each page features full-color photos taken at Old St. Patrick Oratory, the Institute’s apostolate in Kansas City, MO. Acclaimed by children and adults alike, this book is intended to be a beautiful, durable, and practical …

Gary D. Barnett | Garydbarnett.com “The urge to save humanity is almost always a false front for the urge to rule.”~H. L. Mencken In May of 2025, the governor of the state of Virginia signed into ‘law’ the bill that imposes major restrictions on social media use by minors, in this case those under 16 years of age. The newest version of this bill took effect on January 1st, 2026, and limits any minor under the age of 16 to one hour of screen time. There can be exceptions granted, but the bill is targeted toward social media operators, and requires commercial methods be used for age verification. The state ‘claims’ that this of course is meant to “protect the children,” (minors) but that is just pure hogwash, as this is strictly a method to advance additional control measures. Currently, there are 8 states that have passed legislation to block screen time for minors, but 25 want to implement these bans currently. I am not endorsing that kids should be on phones and devices non-…
Our Lord told us we should pray for those who persecute us, that is a command, but... how can I pray for a false prophet or prophets who wants my spiritual ruin? Hard indeed, when righteous anger becomes us when an army of pro-homosexuals, destroyers of tradition and straight up Judas are in collusion with the devil to destroy everything true faithwise is about, their mistake is thinking the Lord is not watching, and it is because He is watching we need to fulfill His commands. My prayer for Leo (Francis II) and his minions is the following: "Lord, I beg You for the traitor priests, I ask You for their souls, NOT their evil intentions." Sorry for the simplistic prayer, but it is a serious prayer, there’s no sarcasm or any ill will, If a traitor priest can repent it’s a win... I didn't pray for Bergoglio's intentions, the same way I don’t have the strenght to pray for Leo's intentions, his fruits show who he is, and believe me, I wish i was so wrong, but it feels that for every 10 …Higit pa
We have to pray for the false prophet Prevost, just like we prayed for the False prophet Bergoglio. But we cannot pray for the Antichrist as he does not have a soul. This instruction is from the Book of Truth.
Worth noting this has always been the Catholic view Vatican in 1985: "The existence of the State of Israel and its political options should be envisaged not in a perspective which is in itself religious, but in their reference to the common principles of international law."
The Patriarchs and Heads of the Churches in Jerusalem denounce “Christian Zionism” as a harmful ideology. In a joint statement on January 17 (below), they write: “Recent activities undertaken by local individuals who advance damaging ideologies, such as Christian Zionism, mislead the public, sow confusion, and harm the unity of our flock. These undertakings have found favor among certain political actors in Israel and beyond who seek to push a political agenda which may harm the Christian presence in the Holy Land and the wider Middle East.” The Patriarchs and Heads of Churches further note with concern that these individuals have welcomed at official levels both locally and internationally. #newsKcvomeyroj

On Saturday, Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin confirmed that he tried to find a solution in Venezuela that would avoid bloodshed, including seeking an agreement with Nicolás Maduro and other representatives of the government. The Cardinal added that these efforts ultimately failed. Speaking on the sidelines of an event, Parolin said: "We tried what also appeared in some newspapers". This was an indirect reference to earlier reporting by Washington Post about Vatican involvement in efforts to secure a safe passage for Maduro before his capture by the United States. Cardinal Parolin added that the Vatican had always supported a peaceful solution, but that it eventually found itself faced with a fait accompli, meaning the situation had developed beyond what diplomacy could influence. In short, Parolin’s Saturday remarks publicly confirmed that: - The Vatican tried to broker a peaceful exit for Maduro - This included negotiating directly or indirectly with Maduro and his …Higit pa
1 Samuel 15:16-23 “Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, the Lord in turn has rejected you as king!” It is necessary to understand that it is Saul who is not in harmony with God. It is Saul who rejects God. God is simply observing this. The only word of God is Love, joy, and peace. Mark 2:18-22 “Can the wedding guests fast while the bridegroom is with them? As long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.” When is the Bridegroom with us? When is God with us? Right now. Biblical texts: NAB-RE Normand Thomas.
"Science only ever depends on the data of reality. Now, no one can prejudge what the actual data of reality are, nor what these data will be in the future. Theories must be based on these data, and can therefore legitimately formulate both positive and negative hypotheses regarding the object under consideration, as well as analogous hypotheses relating to its ultimate nature. Nothing justifies a prohibition or an abstention in this matter. Nothing, except an ideological bias, a dogmatic position which have no place in science or scientific research. It is therefore perfectly legitimate and perfectly possible, depending on the available data, to formulate positive or negative theories relating, for example, to the existence of God, to a manifestation of divine order, to Marian apparitions or to a supposed revelation, while remaining within the scientific field. This is what neither religious totalitarians, nor the proponents of French-style secularism, nor researchers who refrain from …Higit pa
Thousands at the March for Life in Paris: On Sunday in Paris, thousands of people took to the streets for the annual March for Life. This year, the demonstration focused especially on opposing current plans to legalize euthanasia. Organizers expected a crowd of 10,000, and even state media spoke of “several thousand” participants. At the front of the march, the organizers sang the Ave Maria of Lourdes.
