Bishop Michael Sis of San Angelo, West Texas, will expand access to the traditional Latin Mass with a new monthly celebration at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Midland, beginning August 30. Rev. Women-Led Liturgy of the Word with Bread and Grapes: During a Liturgy of the Word at the chapel on Germany's highest mountain, Zugspitze, two female pastoral assistants blessed a candle dedicated to the “female apostle” Mary Magdalene - alongside the chapel's traditional twelve apostle candles.
