On June 30, Leo XIV appointed Bishop Marco Mellino as Secretary of the Dicastery for Legislative Texts. Until now, Mellino was the deputy secretary of the same Dicastery. He was one of the principal canon-law officials of Francis' Curial reform. Born in 1966 in Canale (Piedmont), Mellino was ordained a priest in 1991 and earned his licentiate (1999) and doctorate (2000) in canon law at the Pontifical Lateran University. Defending Amoris Laetitia In January 2018, Mellino defended the controversial Chapter VIII of Amoris laetitia about giving Communion to adulterers in an article entitled 'La comunione ad alcuni fedeli in situazione irregolare' (Communion for some members of the faithful in an irregular situation). Mellino belongs to the same canon-law milieu as Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio, the principal Vatican defender of Amoris laetitia. In October 2018, Francis appointed Mellino as Bishop and Secretary of the Council of Cardinals (the "C9"). Creating a "Synodal Church" Monsignor …Ētahi atu
Benedict XVI: Places of worship, like this splendid Al-Hussein Bin Talal mosque, stand out like jewels across the earths surface. They all point to the divine.
The episcopal consecrations in Ecône, Switzerland, today should lead the Church to reconsider the restrictions on the Mass in the Roman rite, Cardinal Gerhard Müller told IlGiornale.it on July 1. The restrictions imposed by Traditionis Custodes (2021) have only strengthened the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) by giving them "a symbol of dissent against Rome". They have "almost served as propaganda" for them. According to Cardinal Müller, Traditionis Custodes "has not had a positive effect": "Using an authoritarian approach to demand blind obedience is not our way." He praised Benedict XVI's Summorum Pontificum (2007) for bringing "a great deal of peace" to the Church, adding: "One cannot prohibit the rite in its ancient form." The ancient Mass cannot be harmful when "the saints and the Fathers of the Church celebrated in this form." Cardinal Müller rejected the claim that those attached to the ancient rite reject the Second Vatican Council, arguing instead that the …Ētahi atu
Glad I saw through these men years ago. Starting with Cardinal Burke. First one to run from. The one I was disappointed in slightly was Cardinal Sarah. I had my hope on him to do better and be better. I don't hear much about Cardinal Arinze. I hope he is not joining them. But I have a feeling he has. All of them lost and confused. Like The Holy Apostles when Christ was arrested they abandon Christ. Now they abandon Him again, His Church and the people. Not one stood up for Him. Not one defended Him. And it's all happening again trying to save their positions and life. Forgetting He who gave His life for us.
Weather Deteriorated During Episcoapal Consecration: As the consecration began in Écône, a downpour doused the faithful in the field outside the tent. Meanwhile, the organ played Handel's "Lascia ch'io pianga": "Let me weep over my cruel fate, and sigh for freedom."
Cardinal Pietro Parolin told journalists in Rome today that he does not know when or how the excommunications of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) will take place. “Despite this serious wound I hope that we can find ways to resolve this problem.” He also said that he was "deeply pained" by today's episcopal ordinations: "It is a schismatic act."
From Delia Gallagher: Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, says he is “deeply pained” by the SSPX ordinations today. “It is a schismatic act” he does not know when or how the excommunications will take place. “Despite this serious wound I hope that we can find ways to resolve this problem”
The Vatican has officially issued a decree of excommunication to the bishops of the SSPX; +Alfonso de Galarreta, +Bernard Fellay, +Pascal Schreiber, +Michael Goldade, +Michel Poinsinet de Sivry, and +Marc Hanappier. As regards the lay faithful, those who formally adhere to the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X are to be considered schismatic and excommunicated.
The Vatican's Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith on July 2 issued a decree excommunicating the six bishops of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX). The decree also warns clergy and faithful not to adhere to the Fraternity's schism, stating that doing so incurs automatic excommunication. An accompanying explanatory note says that all attempts since Pope Paul VI to reconcile the movement founded by Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre with the Catholic Church have failed. The recent episcopal consecrations against the will of Pope Leo XIV, it says, "constituted the offense of schism, with the resulting canonical consequences for the sacred ministers and lay faithful involved." "The sacred ministers belonging to the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X are in schism and must therefore be considered schismatics." Lay faithful who formally adhere to the Fraternity are likewise to be considered schismatics and excommunicated. The FSSPX clergy administer "the sacraments illicitly": "The …Ētahi atu
The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X. (FSSPX) “sincerely regrets that, due to exceptional circumstances, these consecrations had to be conferred without the authorization of the Holy Father”, the general house said in a communiqué after the episcopal consecrations today in Ecône, Switzerland. “It particularly regrets that the Society’s Superior General did not have the opportunity to meet personally with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV to explain, in a spirit of filial devotion, the grave reasons that made this ceremony necessary.” At the same time, the statement speaks of a profound joy inspired by these episcopal consecrations. #newsVluwxevdyp
Mary Live with Dr. Miravalle: Please Stay with Peter: to the Laity of the Society of Saint Pius X Please view and pass on this extremely important appeal to the laity and families of the St. Pius X Society by Dr. Mark Miravalle just hours after the tragic ordination of four bishops in formal disobedience to Pope Leo XIV on July 1, 2026.
15,000 People Attend the Episcopal Consecration: Around fifteen thousand laypeople and a thousand priests and religious currently attend the episcopal consecration in Ecône, Switzerland. During the consecration sermon, Father Davide Pagliarani advanced the strange argument that "we belong to the same Church because we have the same faith," even though the controversy concerns questions of ecclesiastical authority rather than the content of the faith.

Leo XIV has overhauled the Vatican's financial watchdog, replacing its long-standing board-led structure with a director appointed directly by the pope. The reform, contained in a chirograph published June 30, introduces a new statute for the Authority for Financial Supervision and Information (ASIF). This body is responsible for combating money laundering and supervising the Vatican's financial system. The biggest change is institutional. Until now, ASIF was governed by a president and board - a model resembling those used by many central banks and independent financial regulators. The new statute abolishes that structure. Instead, ASIF will be headed by a director, assisted by a deputy director, both appointed by the pope for five-year terms. The authority's annual report and budget will also be submitted directly to the Council for the Economy. The statute replaces the previous board with a single papally appointed leadership, a governance model that more closely resembles that of …Ētahi atu
1. July 2026 1. July 2026 07/01/2026 Entire blog as a free PDF eBook. I wrote about the fact that the pharmaceutical industry is a mafia more than five years ago. Now, using yesterday’s article on thedigger.co as an example—Inclisiran: How the NHS Became a Tool of Industrial Policy—you can follow, step by step, the entire process of approving an untested “drug” chosen by the mafia to unhealthily lower cholesterol levels necessary for life. The quotation marks around the word “drug” will become unnecessary if we agree with my definition of this substance: Drug – a chemical substance administered to alleviate symptoms or adjust laboratory test results to standards manipulated by the pharmaceutical industry, without triggering self-healing processes, and causing additional diseases. The issue of money in medicine is important, but it’s complex and difficult to grasp intuitively. To unpack this problem, I’ll show you the pathway of onedrug, from its discovery all the way through to its …
FSSPX "Liturgical" Reply for Lacking an Apostolic Mandate: Asked about the Apostolic Mandate in the liturgical rite of the Episcopal Consecrations, a notary of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) read a declaration: “It is the Catholic and Roman Church, which has always been faithful to the traditions received from the Apostles, that, in entirely exceptional circumstances, demands that we uphold these traditions — the Deposit of Faith — and transmit them faithfully to all men for the salvation of their souls. From the Second Vatican Council to the present day, church authorities have been acting contrary to the faith and against holy tradition. They will no longer tolerate sound doctrine.”
When asked about the Apostolic Mandate for the Episcopal Consecrations, they justify why they will proceed without it.
They mean they are faithful to Tradition. Vatican Council II irrational is not traditional but heretical and schismatic. However they can still affirm Vatican Council II rational and ask the pope to do the same.
The Traditional Latin Mass, the Tridentine Rite is a Matter of Faith. This is a radio interview of author and lecturer, Fr. Paul Leonard Kramer, B.Ph, S.T.B., M.Div, S.T.L. (Cand.) on the Traditional Latin Mass (The Tridentine Rite). He discusses the history behind the Tridentine Rite of Mass, why this mass of the Latin Rite is a matter of Faith, and why Catholics are bound to that and ONLY that Rite of Mass. This interview is a must for all Catholics who are serious about learning their faith and learning why the Traditional Latin Mass is the True Mass.
A new video has emerged from the devastating earthquake in La Guaira, Venezuela. The footage shows the collapse of several residential buildings, with people desperately trying to find a safe place.
And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the river that the dragon cast out of his mouth. Women is the Church . River of sin and rebellion . Earthquakes sign rebellion coming to end get on the Ark of salvation .You never know the time of your judgement
So many earthquakes and disasters. One after the other. We are getting closer everyday. It is growing more and more. Yet still in the beginning. So much more is yet to happen. Will there be a time when everything will hit us all at once? War, famine, disease etc.
The Greek Ministry of Migration and Asylum is pressing ahead with plans to establish a temporary migrant detention center at a former factory in Iraklio, Crete, despite an official urban planning report concluding that the proposed site violates zoning regulations and growing opposition from local residents. The urban planning report was commissioned after residents from nearby villages objected to the facility. The center is intended to house migrants arriving on Crete from North Africa. If completed, it would become the island’s second migrant reception center, alongside an existing one outside Hania. Greek officials argue that the new facility is needed to house migrants in an organized reception center, ensure legal procedures are followed, and ease pressure on Crete’s tourism industry. Residents say the planning report vindicates their concerns and have urged the ministry to abandon the project, warning they are prepared to seek court injunctions if construction goes ahead. The …
