Poland's Constitutional Tribunal has ruled that homosex “marriages” performed abroad cannot be entered into the country's civil registry. Doing so would violate Article 18 of the Polish Constitution, which defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman. The July 28 ruling comes after a series of conflicting legal decisions. In November 2025, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) held that Poland must recognize homosex marriages performed in other EU member states where necessary to protect EU free movement rights. In March, Poland's Supreme Administrative Court applied that judgment, and the government began preparing regulations to implement it. The Constitutional Tribunal has now reached the opposite conclusion, holding that foreign marriage certificates may only be transcribed if they meet the constitutional definition of marriage. The court said any change would require an amendment to the Constitution and legislation passed by Parliament - not administrative action. …थप
Society has a thirst for transcendence, but “the old instruments have already fulfilled their purpose and no longer meet the needs of today's people". This claims Bishop Tomáš Holub, 58, of Plzeň, Czech Republic, in a lengthy article about "Synodality and the Novus Ordo Missae" on 21 July on the blog Come se non, run by the Italian theologian Andrea Grillo. Grillo is an opponent of the Roman rite and is considered an influencer of Traditionis Custodes. According to Bishop Holub, a missionary outlook must be rooted in synodality: "Synodality is not merely a technique of communication, but a way of living the faith... The point is not to hold a synod, but to become a synod." The Czech bishop goes on that the Novus Ordo provides the appropriate expression of the Church's synodal identity: "The Novus Ordo makes it possible for this synodality to be applied in the liturgical sphere. Otherwise, this would be very difficult, since the Vetus Ordo is the expression of a Tridentine vision of the …थप
This is false! The Church has been infected with rotten and disease infected fruit. The only way to become vibrant and healthy is for Her to return to the traditional practices that were in effect before Vatican II.
Today, Rev. Francis Xavier Duan Yongkun, 45, was consecrated a bishop. The Vatican announced only today that Pope Leo XIV had appointed him on June 15 as Coadjutor Bishop of Bameng, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China. For the previous three episcopal appointments in China, the regime publicly announced the election of the bishop-designate before the Holy See. In today's case, no comparable notice about the Chinese selection process has been released. Underground Bishop chose recognition The Diocese of Bameng (40,000 Catholics, 30 priests, 20 religious sisters) is not vacant. The current bishop, Matthew Du Jiang, is only 63 years old. He was consecrated for the Catholic underground Church in 2004 and officially recognized by the Chinese authorities as bishop in 2010. As part of the recognition process, he was required to participate in an installation ceremony concelebrated with Bishop Ma Yinglin of Kunming, then a leading figure in the Chinese state church. The ceremony caused …थप
Cardinal Robert McElroy of Washington D.C. authorised monthly lay "commentary" during the Eucharist at the Jesuit parish of Holy Trinity in Georgetown, according to BigModernism.Substack.com (July 28). The blog published a letter dated 4 February 2026 and signed by Fr James Casciotti, SJ. The letter responds to concerns raised by a correspondent about the parish's liturgical practices. Fr Casciotti addresses several issues, including chatting until just before the Eucharist. The key passage states: "You should know that the Cardinal has given permission for lay commentary once a month at Holy Trinity [...]". The letter does not identify the cardinal by name. In February 2026, Cardinal Robert McElroy was Archbishop of Washington, having been appointed in January 2025 and installed in March 2025. Separately, the blog cites a firsthand account from a reader alleging that the practice involved a woman delivering what functioned as the homily during Mass under the name "commentary." According …थप
Our Anglican "brethren" at Wells Cathedral (which was Catholic until the time of Henry VIII) have decided to stage an exhibition of "Mythical Creatures," based on a 17th-century book held in their library. Particularly striking is a fifteen-meter-long dragon—sporting rainbow colors—that soars above the few elderly congregants, baring its menacing claws at them. It serves as a true parable of what awaits us Catholics if we remain passive in the face of the brazen advance of the hierarchical "Pink Lobby." (It is astonishing to see the degree of confusion among some of the faithful—such as the person who wrote on a tag: "Dear dragon: always be kind and generous to entire human kind." As if we didn't know what the dragon symbolizes!) Visit our Blog: pagina-catolica.blogspot.com
Soon in the Church?: On 6 July, Anglican Wells Cathedral in Somerset, England, installed a 15-metre inflatable dragon in rainbow colours in the nave as the centrepiece of its "Mythical Creatures" summer exhibition. The exhibition runs until 1 September. The building is used for the invalid "Eucharists" of the Anglican State church.

A Wisconsin pastor has sparked controversy by claiming the Traditional Latin Mass is only for Catholics who have "not grown deep enough in faith" to accept the Novus Ordo Mass. He also discouraged TLM attendees from inviting others, calling it "a step backward" in spiritual life. Critics argue these statements contradict the Church's liturgical tradition and the enduring status of the Traditional Latin Mass. The pastor further claimed SSPX sacramental celebrations are invalid, a position disputed by canon lawyers. The remarks have ignited renewed debate over the place of the Traditional Latin Mass within the Catholic Church.
Fr. Fliss is not some random cleric. He is the PASTOR of Ss. Cyril and Methodius, home of the ICKSP in Wisconsin! According to him, the TLM "does not share equal status and dignity as the Mass of Paul VI" and is "a step backward in [the] faith and spiritual life." Tick tock!
More fake news on how the "great" Novus Ordo mass "deepens" faith! Yeah, that's why the nu-church is shutting down parishes left & right! One priest lamented recently that the largest denomination in the U.S. is former/lapsed Catholics.

"Je suis né en Amérique, et j'ai un grand amour pour L'Amérique " : Léon XIV affiche son grand amour pour les États-Unis - « Je conçois ma mission comme ayant une dimension très importante, qui est précisément d'être le pasteur d'une Église universelle, d'avoir une voix et l'opportunité de m'adresser aux gens dans le monde entier. »
NBS: “I’m curious, how important is being American to you? What do you love about America?” Pope Leo XIV: “First of all, just to clarify, I think of myself more as the pope, who happens to be American. Not to belittle what it means to be American. I was born in the United States, my family is still in the United States. I have great love for America. But I understand my mission, having a very important mission, being pastor of a global church and having a voice and opportunity to speak to people throughout the world. So, I will put things in that order. At the same time I will acknowledge for myself as well as the people of the United States, judging by the response we’ve seen since May 8 of last year, that there is great significance in being the first American pope.”
Vatican Bank boosts Pope's share as profits climb to €51m: The Vatican Bank increased the share of its economic value distributed to the Pope while posting a €51 million net profit, according to its July Sustainability Report. The report, which outlines the bank's own assessment of its economic, social and environmental performance, says the Pope's share rose from 27% to 36%, while total economic value reached €67.6 million.
Conservative Archbishop Alexander K. Sample of Portland, Oregon attacked in an in-house interview on Youtube.com on July 28 the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX). Main quotes. • "The FSSPX's recent consecration of bishops without a papal mandate takes the situation to a whole new level. They are now the second time bishops have been consecrated." • "They see themselves as the faithful remnant, as though the rest of the Church is wrong and they alone are right. Folks, please don't be in that position." • "I don't attribute any ill will to these folks. They're sincere in wanting to preserve tradition and be faithful Catholics. But they have in fact become something else now, especially in light of these recent consecrations." • "They still mention the Pope in the Eucharistic Prayer, but it's just words. It's not a real communion. They give lip service." Summorum Pontificum Not About FSSPX • "Everybody thinks that Pope Benedict issued Summorum Pontificum... to bring them back …थप
30.07.2026 PAKISTANI CARDINAL AND BISHOPS ALIGNED WITH TRADITIONALISTS : VATICAN COUNCIL II RATIONAL UNITES. For Cardinal Joseph Coutts and the bishops in Pakistan, LG 8, 14, 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc, in Vatican Conical II refer to hypothetical cases only. They agree with me. So indirectly they support the traditionalists on the teaching outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation. For them Ad Gentes 7 (all need faith and baptism for salvation) is aligned with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS), while LG 8, 14, 16 etc are not practical exceptions in 2026. The Council is dogmatic (AG 7/EENS) and ecclesiocentic (AG /EEG). Ratzinger kept this information a secret. So like Fr. Davide Pagliarani, the Superior General of the SSPX, they would be saying at the Archbishop’s House in Karachi, that all non Catholics in Pakistan need Catholic faith and the baptism of water in the Catholic Church for salvation. They do not know any person today who would be saved outside the visible …थप
Pope Leo XIV talked on July 29 with Tom Llamas (NBC) about his heritage and what it means to be the first pope from the US. “First of all, just to clarify, I think of myself more as the pope who happens to be American, not to belittle what it means to be American”, Leo XIV said. Leo XIV loves about America “the sense of freedom, the sense of opportunity, the sense of having invited for generations people from around the world to be part of America.” Discussing his family's heritage, he said, “I come from a family where my grandparents were immigrants. On my mother’s side, we have people who were both slaves and slave owners.” Llamas also asked when the pope will visit the United States. “In the next couple of years,” Leo answered. The interview was Leo XIV's first interview with a US television journalist, and it aired alongside the Concert for Peace, marking the 800th anniversary of St. Francis of Assisi's death, featuring Andrea Bocelli and a 200-child interfaith choir from conflict-…थप
The Tablet: “Will it be as important to Pope Leo as it was to Pope Francis to restrict the celebration of the Tridentine Mass?” Cardinal Roche: “Well, let me say, first of all, it’s a very complex area. And it’s a very important area because the Eucharist is the sacrament of unity: it’s the place where we should all be able to be together to celebrate Mass. So if it begins to divide us, there’s something seriously amiss. But no, Pope Leo is not going to change Traditionis Custodes, and he’s not going back to Summorum Pontificum.” “It’s interesting. When I meet with groups who want the antecedent liturgy, and I say: ‘Well, the Holy Father has given you that, so what’s the problem?’, they can’t answer. But then they go away and say, ‘We’re still being persecuted’. In what way persecuted? Why is the band still playing a tune that is discordant with the life of the Church?” The Tablet: “So if I were an old lady who had grown up with the Tridentine Mass, would Roche be telling me that the …थप
