"Young People Want Traditional Mass": Bishop James Conley of Lincoln, Nebraska, told EWTN on June 26 that he sees "a resurgence of interest in all things traditional, especially among young people": "They want reverence. They want transcendence. They want beauty in the liturgy." He believes this desire is also influencing the Novus Ordo: "I believe that we're seeing a trend turning more traditional even in the Novus Ordo. And I think this is a good thing." Ordained in 1985, Bishop James Conley has celebrated the Mass in the Roman rite since 1988, though about 95% of the time he uses the Novus Ordo.

Bishop James Conley, Lincoln: "There is a resurgence of interest in all things traditional, especially among young people. I see it in my own diocese. They want reverence. They want transcendence. They want beauty in the liturgy."
"Thanks be to God we have not only the Fraternity of Saint Peter, but I have a couple of priests who celebrate, with permission of the Holy See, a Sunday Mass in the Extraordinary Form... It's my hope that as they continue to ordain priests... they will be able to meet the needs of the people who desire this form of the Mass."
"So don't give up and don't jump ship."

Football Match Broadcast Inside Church. Worse than Germany: A football match between France and Norway, which France won 4–1, was broadcast inside a church in Ligny-en-Barrois, France. According to the parish, the church was used because of the heat wave, providing spectators with a cooler venue. During the event, the French national anthem, La Marseillaise, a symbol of the French Revolution, was played inside the church.

Missing Bellaigue Monk Found Safe 170 Kilometers Away

A 29-year-old monk from the independent Abbey of Notre-Dame de Bellaigue in central France, who had been missing since Tuesday evening, was found safe on Friday.
The Benedictine-inspired community in Virlet, in the Puy-de-Dôme department, was formerly affiliated with the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX). It aligned in 2019 with the movement associated with Bishop Richard Williamson.
French gendarmes launched a search operation on Wednesday morning, deploying ground teams and aerial resources to locate the missing religious.
According to LaMontagne.fr, the monk was found alive and without apparent injuries near Limoges, approximately 170 kilometers (105 miles) west of the monastery.
Authorities have not disclosed how the monk came to be so far from the monastery or the circumstances surrounding his disappearance. They have released no information suggesting criminal involvement, nor have they indicated whether he left voluntarily or experienced a medical or psychological …Ibindi

Sedevacantist Heart

There’s one thing (of many), my dear Catholic Church taught me when I was a child, never to rely on men, ONLY have faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Never hope on any pope, never wait for my Bishop, never to place my soul in the hands of viral priest… just on Jesus, He is the ONLY one I need to make good, the ONLY path to Heaven and the ONLY source for me to be truly happy.
Sure, I needed a God-fearing parent (in this case my mother), a God-fearing family, God fearing priests and perhaps a God-fearing community. I give thanks to God for letting me know Him a bit before I end my time here on earth, I’m truly grateful and lucky finding Jesus in this dark world.
Loved my popes from my nearest past, my family even has a framed declaration exclusive for us from one of the most hated popes inside our Church John XXIII, though I wasn’t alive yet, my family loved and revered popes, you see, way-way in the past, we were Jews coming from Spain, from the Canary Islands, my heritage came to …Ibindi

Cardinal Müller at Consistory: "We Must Respond to the Lefebvrists"

Cardinal Gerhard Müller spoke at the June 26 consistory about the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX), IlGiornale.it reports.
He addressed the FSSPX's allegations that the Vatican has deviated from the Church's magisterium. Cardinal Müller proposed preparing a response to the Fraternity that would affirm that Rome has never abandoned the path of Catholicism, contrary to their claims.
He also said that, following Wednesday's episcopal consecrations, many Lefebvrists would seek to enter into full canonical communion with the Church.
The Vatican should prepare to welcome them back by proposing a structure modelled on the Pontifical Commission Ecclesia Dei, which was established by Pope John Paul II in 1988.
Cardinal Müller's intervention was received without comment during the session.

Müller acts like many people who attend SSPX chapels don't want their children confirmed by an SSPX bishop. Does he even know what he's talking about?

"FSSPX Are Schismatic Priests": Cardinal Gerhard Müller told EWTN that Catholics “cannot go” to Masses offered by the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (SSPX): “They shouldn't go and cannot go, participate in the masses of the schismatic priests.” He added that Catholics must accept not only dogmas such as the Trinity and the Incarnation, but also that “the Church is the visible presence of the Body of Jesus Christ.” Regarding the FSSPX's planned episcopal consecrations, he said: “Consecrations without the Pope are absolutely impossible against the will of God, and who is working against God will be excommunicated.” The Vatican has so far never used the word "schism" or "schismatic" in context with the FSSPX.

Cardinal Müller's remarks to EWTN (June 26) were strikingly uncompromising: "Catholics cannot go to these schismatic priests."

Has there ever been a time like this? The FSSPX is not doing something new, as throughout history of the Church there has been consecrations without papal aproval and nothing happened, because the salvation of souls is #1 and above everything else, BUT we are living in such dangerous times that we no longer distinguish good from bad and light with dark, this is why the FSSPX is doing what's best for their sheep and I (even though im not one of them), stands with them.

works behind the scenes to put US–Iran war back on track
The Iran–US deal is barely off the ground with the sides exchanging strikes again, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio is already undermining it.
Rubio's sabotage timeline
♦️ Team Trump managed to refrain from criticism of Iran following the signing of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) for just a few days, while on June 21, Donald Trump suddenly lashed out at Iran again, threatening to "hit it very hard again" unless it stops Hezbollah in Lebanon amid the Israeli invasion
♦️ Two days later, Rubio made similar statements in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, claiming that Iranian "proxies" are destabilizing the region and that Iran must stop funding them under the MoU. Remarkably, the deal doesn't contain such provisions. Rubio's claims made some observers wonder whether he was behind Trump's ill-advised Sunday tweet

"Church Can Never Accept Homosexual Lifestyle": Following a pro-homosexual Eucharist presided over by Washington Cardinal Robert McElroy at Georgetown University on June 20, New York Father Gerald Murray noted that McElroy was attempting to “let the steamroller keep rolling down the street” in order to promote homosexual sins within the Church. “The propaganda continues,” said Father Murray. Cardinal McElroy holds the view that acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle is “inevitable.” “That will never happen; it can never happen,” Father Murray concluded.

Fr. Murray on Cardinal McElroy's decision to celebrate Mass at a recent LGBT gathering in Washington, DC: "McElroy is trying to roll this steamroller down the road further, saying that it's inevitable that the church is going to accept the homosexual lifestyle. It never will"

Fr. Murray is right. The One Catholic and Apostolic Church can never change its position on sodomy. The Synodal Church not only can but has. Now the good father has a choice: follow the Synodal path to apostacy or cling to the One Catholic and Apostolic Church. I realize the one path will be very hard while the other is easy, but the choice makes all the difference.

Homosex Eucharist in New York

On June 25, skinny Paulist Father Chris Lawton celebrated an annual homosex Eucharist at the Stonewall National Monument in Christopher Park, New York City. Around 150 people attended, reports NcrOnline.org.
The Eucharist was organized by the notorious homosexual parish St. Paul the Apostle in Manhattan. It took place at the start of 'New York Pride weekend'.
The location was disfigured with dozens of rainbow flags.
Fr Lawton apologized to homosexuals for times when the Church had failed to recognize God's presence in them. He believes that „transgender Catholics” continue to face unique injustice within the Church.
He added that there is a movement toward inclusion of homosexuals underway in the Church: "The train has left the station. And we are going somewhere."
Since February 6, the Archdiocese of New York has been led by Monsignor Ronald Hicks - another of Leo XIV's bad appointments.

EWTN linked to right-wing extremism in the German mind

EWTN and the AfD – Cherry-picking from a misanthropic ideology
Some Catholic media outlets view warnings about the AfD with skepticism. Andreas Püttmann argues against cherry-picking ostensibly Christian elements from a *völkisch*-nationalist ideology.
Yesterday, Steffen Zimmermann acknowledged the efforts of Catholics in the Diocese of Magdeburg to uphold human dignity, charity, and democracy in the run-up to the state election. Bishop Gerhard Feige laments that they are being "ridiculed," verbally abused, and "pressured" by the AfD for their resistance against the coarsening of public discourse; the "intensity" of these attacks reminds him of the era of dictatorship. All believers in Germany are called upon to stand against such attempts at intimidation and to support the "little flock" (Luke 12:32) of Catholics in Saxony-Anhalt—to "amplify their voice" (Zimmermann)—in accordance with the image of the Body, in which "all the members should have the same care for one another. And if …

"A Madman Can Separate the Gospel from Cultural Husks"

In his May 2026 lecture at the Pontifical Urbaniana University, Cardinal Víctor "Tucho" Fernández said: "Sometimes it takes a madman, desperately in love with his land and his people, capable of separating the Gospel from certain cultural husks that have become attached to it but are not an essential part of its message, and of rereading it in the light of what his people are living today."
Tucho added: "Ultimately, it is the Gospel, written within an ancient culture, that now acquires another 'flesh' in popular rites, venerated images, aphorisms and customs, reflections, ways of living the faith, and in music."
On 25 June, Carlos Daniel Lasa wrote on ElWanderer.com that Tucho's contextual theology displaces Revelation and makes the lived experience of each people the decisive point for theology. Tucho relativises immutable doctrine and reduces theology to historical interpretation.
Lasa's central thesis is even more far-reaching: Pope Francis sought to "refound" the Church, appointed …Ibindi

The Apostolic faith speaks to the eternal essence of God and the unchanging struggle of humans which is resolved by the timeless sacrifice on Calvary. Tucho claims that what he doesn't like in the Apostolic faith are cultural accretions. He is wrong. Lace, the mitre, and even his red zucchetto are cultural accretions. The seven deadly sins and sins which cry out to Heaven for vengeance are as fundamental to salvation as DNA is to life. This may be painful for Tucho. My heart goes out to him. But salvation comes from taking up your cross and requires sacrifice of your own preferences for the sake of Christ.
